This was an extremely risky shot; I had left my zoom lens in the car but was determined to catch the animal at the precise moment it awoke from slumber. I ended up waiting over 3 hours, braving both frostbite and the grumpy animal's wrath to get the shot. Only inches from it's razor sharp claws and teeth, I could have been slashed in seconds if animal saw me as a threat. This was, unfortunately, the only picture I was able to snap before I began to fear for my safety. The animal would come to its senses momentarily, and be hungry after its nap. So I fled with my single trophy, and the satisfaction of sharing a brief moment with such a majestic beast.

Kitty # 4: An Introduction
We call him "Kitty # 4" because there are already 3 cats
living here, but he doesn't seem to care about that. Here
he is inside our front door where he believes he lives.
He likes us because food is love.
"Kitty # 4" is reknown for his huge paws. We were afraid
at first, believing him to be some type of dog-cat.
It now turns out that he is probably not a dog-cat but more
likely a cat with large paws.

Introducing: Antonio
Some readers may already be familiar with
some of Antonio's modeling work. It has been called bold,
fresh, and blurry. And now we are very pleased
to welcome him to TimeEagle. But there's more than just
classical good looks and a huge bladder here, ladies!
Let's find out about the cat behind the model.
Age: Unknown
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Long
Body Shape: Big head. Very fat in the belly.
Status: Single
Hobbies: When he's not sleeping, Antonio likes to patrol
the food dish at regular 10 minute intervals. This way he ensures
that food-dish status is normal. If another cat is trying
to eat during a "patrol", Antonio will smell the other cat until
it becomes uncomfortable and leaves.
Watch out ladies!!

Tub: The Greenhouse
The model looks wistfully forward to the comming advent of spring.
Have I intruded and perhaps disturbed her reverie?
If only though force of will, one could grow the seedlings.

Introducing: Sweetpea and WeirdHead

Sweetpea and WeirdHead are two cats that lived nextdoor
in San Francisco. We go visit them whenever a kind soul
will buzz us in to the garden area.
They seemed to be exclusively "outdoor" cats. We often
found Sweetpea sitting on our porch in the rain. She would
make a little quack sound as we greeted her and urged her
to get under our stoop.

I called him WeirdHead because I didn't know his real name
and his head always seemed lopsided to me. To make matters
worse, he seems to have lost a tooth since we last saw him
causing his tongue to permanently hang out.

I also thought he looked weird when he meow-ed, moving
his head around and crinkling his nose.

Before we moved in, he must have been using our cement
backyard as a litter-box for a long time because there was
quite a good deal of his weird, orange shit. It makes the person
cleaning it wonder what kind of bizarre things such a cat is eating.

Tub: In a Plant

Tub likes to find a new place to sleep almost every day.

Some people might find it strange

But Tub apparently finds it quite comfortable

Tub: Cat In A Drawer

After Tub sits somewhere for a while it gets too dirty for
her, what with all the filthy cat-hair. However, clean laundry
is always becoming available. The staff will prepare it and
place it in easy to learn locations.

Tub: Fat Cat on Hot Day
Don't worry, Tub wasn't hit by a car.
She likes to sleep under the cars to keep cool on hot days.

She also likes to sleep under cars when it's not hot.

The View From Here
Here is the view from my desk. The house was built by Samay's Grandfather and can turn 360 degrees on its' axis! All of the electrical outlets are on a center pole. A lot of people seem to know about the house because you can see it from the highway.
Poor Planting Plan
Many cities only planted male plants so that there wouldn't be as much rotting fruit laying in the streets for them to clean up. Now, instead of free fruit we have lots and lots of pollen.
I have seen them before, but now they are comming closer to the house. Yesterday there was one on the welcome-mat. I know that they have very sharp teeth.

Tub: The Haircut

We thought Tub was overweight but
then we gave her a haircut.

It turns out most of the weight was hair!

...most of it.

Tub likes to sleep on the stove to keep warm
and stay abreast of any changes in the food dish.

Soon, the food will come to her.

Sleep now, little fatso.

Travellers Tales: Muir Woods

Here is a very old tree. I was able to tell how old it was by cutting it down and looking at the rings.

If you like trees, Muir Woods might be the place for you

Here are some more trees

This is the last picture with trees!

The Ladybugs seemed to be attracted to something in the wood. Perhaps aphids, whom they will enslave to do their dirty work.

They're swarming, they're swarming!

Sniffer: Hidden Agenda

Sniffer would like you to believe that she's just a cute little kitty. Here, Sniffer gazes down upon her soon-to-be minions

What devious plots are being hatched here?

Sniffer's hobbies include rolling in the dirt and throwing up on the floor.

"I'll get rid of the fat kitty...", Sniffer is probably thinking.
"Obey Me!", Sniffer seems to be commanding.

Tub: An Introduction

We catch the model at dusk, as she scavenges for fresh grass and perhaps bugs.

The Muse gazes out into empty space

Notice the keen eyes, ready snout and formittable posterior region

A tentative raport with the animal allowed for some risky close ups.

The beast in full stride

Travellers Tales: Puerto Vallerta
After countless days of wandering aimlessly through the jungle in the grip of the fever, we came upon an old stone fountain which our guide seemed to recognize. He stopped for a moment to get a drink of water and clear his mind of the fever-madness. How far were we from help of any kind, I wondered as I kneeled to get a drink of water myself.

Travellers Tales: On the Trail of The Prickly Pear

We were trapped for some time on the island itself, attempting
to master the intricacies of the local social structure.

Acquiring one of their so-called, "motor-cars", would
certainly expidite our travels!
And so, we were able to strike out from the others, and
forge a path of our own!

It was here, through sheer luck, that we stumbled upon the
rarest of all unedible fruits...
