This was an extremely risky shot; I had left my zoom lens in the car but was determined to catch the animal at the precise moment it awoke from slumber. I ended up waiting over 3 hours, braving both frostbite and the grumpy animal's wrath to get the shot. Only inches from it's razor sharp claws and teeth, I could have been slashed in seconds if animal saw me as a threat. This was, unfortunately, the only picture I was able to snap before I began to fear for my safety. The animal would come to its senses momentarily, and be hungry after its nap. So I fled with my single trophy, and the satisfaction of sharing a brief moment with such a majestic beast.

Kitty # 4: An Introduction

Introducing: Antonio
Some readers may already be familiar with
some of Antonio's modeling work. It has been called bold,
fresh, and blurry. And now we are very pleased
to welcome him to TimeEagle. But there's more than just
classical good looks and a huge bladder here, ladies!
Let's find out about the cat behind the model.
Age: Unknown
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Long
Body Shape: Big head. Very fat in the belly.
Status: Single
Hobbies: When he's not sleeping, Antonio likes to patrol
the food dish at regular 10 minute intervals. This way he ensures
that food-dish status is normal. If another cat is trying
to eat during a "patrol", Antonio will smell the other cat until
it becomes uncomfortable and leaves.
Watch out ladies!!

Tub: The Greenhouse

Introducing: Sweetpea and WeirdHead
Sweetpea and WeirdHead are two cats that lived nextdoor
in San Francisco. We go visit them whenever a kind soul
will buzz us in to the garden area.
They seemed to be exclusively "outdoor" cats. We often
found Sweetpea sitting on our porch in the rain. She would
make a little quack sound as we greeted her and urged her
to get under our stoop.
I called him WeirdHead because I didn't know his real name
and his head always seemed lopsided to me. To make matters
worse, he seems to have lost a tooth since we last saw him
causing his tongue to permanently hang out.
I also thought he looked weird when he meow-ed, moving
his head around and crinkling his nose.
Before we moved in, he must have been using our cement
backyard as a litter-box for a long time because there was
quite a good deal of his weird, orange shit. It makes the person
cleaning it wonder what kind of bizarre things such a cat is eating.

Tub: Fat Cat on Hot Day
Don't worry, Tub wasn't hit by a car.
She likes to sleep under the cars to keep cool on hot days.
She also likes to sleep under cars when it's not hot.

Travellers Tales: Muir Woods
Here is a very old tree. I was able to tell how old it was by cutting it down and looking at the rings.
If you like trees, Muir Woods might be the place for you
Here are some more trees
This is the last picture with trees!
The Ladybugs seemed to be attracted to something in the wood. Perhaps aphids, whom they will enslave to do their dirty work.
They're swarming, they're swarming!
